2 Million Hot Meals Are Missing For Holocaust Survivors and Hungry Seniors

In a year of war e must not forget the Holocaust survivors and the hungry elderly, especially on Holocaust Remembrance Day.

The “Iron Swords” war has not helped the sad situation of Holocaust survivors in the country. As a result of the war and new budget cuts decided by the government, we are facing thousands of new requests for help and support.

Thousands, unfortunately, have fallen below the poverty line and are in real distress.

The war has not only led to a deepening of their economic crisis, but it has also led them to a deep psychological crisis and thoughts of the difficult Holocaust they experienced firsthand, and now again, it is a daily existential anxiety and suffering from hunger that brings back the memories.

The nightmare they just wanted to avoid and that’s why they came to Israel. So they barely survived the Holocaust and today, in 2024, they are still barely surviving hunger and loneliness.

It is time for each of us to stand by their side and for their sake! To give them food security and a warm hug, to be their support and family in the last years of their lives.

How can you help?
